Wild Finch Mix might have a new name, but it’s still the same 100% NZ‑grown, nutrient-rich seed blend. Formally known as Wild Bird Seed Fine.
A diverse blend of NZ grown seeds and grains for wild finches and other small seed-eating garden birds.
New Zealand is home to a range of colourful wild finch species including the greenfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch and redpoll. Welcome them to your place with this premium mix of locally grown ingredients. Containing smaller oil rich seeds such as linseed and canary seed as well as larger, harder seeds like sunflower and barley, there’s something for all seed-eating garden birds here – sparrows and yellowhammers included.
Because Wild Finch Mix ingredients are grown in New Zealand, they don’t need heat-treatment. That means wild birds are eating fresh, viable seed containing all the vital micronutrients that keep them healthy.

Feeding Guide: Place Wild Finch Mix in a clean bird feeder, well off the ground to keep birds safe from predators like cats, rats, and stoats. It may take some time for birds to recognise new food items or feeders, so be patient.
Replenish food regularly and keep your feeder clean. A quick scrub with warm water and gentle dishwashing liquid after each refill helps keep your local birds healthy and coming back for more.
Packaging: Soft plastic. Recyclable in an official soft plastics recycling scheme.
